Development Agency for Upper Gorenjska is on 22nd of January 2013 planning organization and implementation of Transfer Workshop titled “SME Internationalization” as part of project REGIOLAB.

Changesin the economy, increased competition, saturation of domestic markets, the need for expansion, new challenges andensuring growthare justsome ofthe reasons whysmall andmedium-sized enterprises have to intensivelythinkabout the possibility ofoperating outsidetheir national borders.

Internationalization islong-term strategicprojectthat is connected to risks and costs, which can also directlyaffect theoperating resultsof parent company.Projectsrelated tointernational operationsmusttherefore be basedon well thought-out and qualityplannedschedules.All this requires complexmanagement, administrationand supervision. In order to succeed companies needmanyinputs, expertise andspecific knowledge.

As part ofTransfer workshopSME internationalization,special attention will be intended topresentation of goodpracticesin the field ofinternationalization.
