Transcript Direct: Settings

Receivers utilizing Transcript Direct can modify the following settings:

  • Documents – identify the documents to be requested for High School and/or College students.
  • Student Workflow – personalize the student Transcript Direct workflow.
  • Request Form – personalize the Transcript Request Form.

Note: Site Administrator permissionsare required to access the Transcript Direct Settings.

Step 1: Access Requested Documents Setting

To manage the Transcript Direct settings, select Receiver > Transcript Direct from the Receiver submenu, and ‘Documents’ from the Transcript Direct menu.

Step 2: Select Types of Documents Requested

Select the types of documents to be requested by students through the Transcript Direct workflow.

High School Documents

If you want to receive High School documents, select the High School Documents checkbox and then the specific document types to be requested. You must select ‘Transcript’.

If you request a Secondary School Report (SSR), you can provide a URL for SSR you would like the Sending institution to complete. A link to the SSR will be provided when the request is delivered.

Postsecondary Documents

If you want to receive Postsecondary documents, select the Postsecondary Documents checkbox and then the specific document types to be requested. You must select ‘Transcript’.

Click ‘Save’.

Step 1: Access Student Workflow Setting

To manage the Transcript Direct settings, select Receiver > Transcript Direct from the Receiver submenu, and ‘Student Workflow’ from the Transcript Direct menu.

Step 2: Personalize the Transcript Direct Student Workflow

You can personalize the following elements of the Student Workflow.

Logo

You can upload a logo, with a maximum width of 300 pixels, to be displayed in in the Student Workflow when students are directed to docufide.com to place their transcript request(s). The file type to be uploaded must be .png. .gif or .jpg.

You can optionally include ‘powered by Docufide’ below the logo by selecting the checkbox.

Student Messages

You can provide a personalized message on the Request Transcript landing page and Confirmation pages. Your personalized message will display at the top of these pages.

Return URL

If you would like to direct students to return to your site after submitting their transcript request(s), provide a return URL. This URL will be displayed as a link on the Confirmation page.

Step 1: Access Transcript Request Form Setting

To manage the Transcript Direct settings, select Receiver > Transcript Direct from the Receiver submenu, and ‘Transcript Request Form’ from the Transcript Direct menu.

Step 2: Personalize the Transcript Request Form

You can personalize the following elements of the Student Workflow.

Logos

Indicate the logos to be included on the TRF:

  • Docufide by Parchment
  • Your logo – upload a logo with a maximum width of300 pixels and file type of .png. .gif or .jpg.

Personalized Messages

Message to Student

Provide a personalized message for students to be displayed at the top of the Transcript Request Form.

Message to Sending Institution

Provide a personalized message for Sending Institutions.

Barcodes

Indicate whether the available barcodes should be displayed on the TRF. If the barcodes are present on a TRF mailed from a sending institution, you can use these barcodes with your image recognition software. The available barcodes include:

  • Applicant ID – the optional unique Applicant ID you assign to the student and pass to Docufide in the transcript direct link.
  • Sending Institution CEEB Code – the unique CEEB code for the Sending Institution
  • Document – the indicator that a new document is in the batch (if you are scanning multiple transcripts from multiple students in a single session).

Preview TRF

To preview the content of the TRF, click ‘preview the TRF’. The sample TRF will open in a new tab or window.
