Friendly settlement with a customer

Certain situations may give rise to conflicts, and you often may reach an agreement with a customer to ensure his satisfaction, without necessarily admitting to the validity of his request or claim. When such is the case, it is to your advantage to record everything in writing in order to avoid, in particular, having the customer come back in the future for the same reasons, or having him say that he is dissatisfied with the settlement that was initially agreed upon. The following standard letter is intended for this type of situation.
