TRAINING: WATER & WASTE WATER TREATMENT PROCESS NQF 2 & 3

Bloem Water is a schedule 3 B Public Business Enterprises (PFMA, Act 1 of 1999), which has been established in terms of the Water Services Act (Act 108 of 1997).

Prospective Service Providers are hereby invited to submit proposal for the appointment of an Accredited Training Service Provider to Train Learnerships in Water and Waste Water Treatment Process NQF 2 & 3.

Scope of Services

Proposals are requested from EWSETA Accredited Service Providers with a proven track record in Water and Waste Water Learner Training. The service providers will be expected to provide the services as indicated below:

  • Train Learnerships in Water and Waste Water Treatment Process NQF 2: SAQA ID 58951 and NQF 3: SAQA ID 60190;
  • Submit learner pre-assessment methods;
  • Submit the proposed training strategy;
  • Submit learner attendance management methods;
  • Submit valid accreditation certificates;
  • Registration and legal issues; and

The prospective Service Providers must provide Company profiles, in which they demonstrate competency, mention theoretical experience and attach a list of related training they have successfully completed of a similar nature. Service Providers will be invited to give presentation to Bloem Water after the closing date.

Documentation with complete details is available from 30 May 2014 on request and upon payment of a non-refundable tender deposit (payable to Bloem Water) of R150.00; payment must be made to Ms Delphine Campbell at the Bloem Water Finance Department. Each bidder must submit an envelope clearly marked BW195/CS/14 - TRAINING:WATER & WASTE WATER TREATMENT PROCESS NQF 2 & 3 with the bidders name and address. Bloem Water complies to theBroad Black Economic Empowerment Act and gives preference to compliant service providers.

The name of the firm submitting the bid shall be clearly shown on all correspondence. An appointment will be made in terms of the approved Supply Chain Management Policy of the Board of Bloem Water.

Proposals will be evaluated in line with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA) principle of 80/20 for tenders below R1 000 000 and 90/10 for tenders above R1000000.

The request for proposaldoes not amount to an invitation for offers and Bloem Water reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal, or part thereof. No proposal transmitted by fax or e-mail will be accepted.

Should you not receive any feedback from Bloem Water after 4 weeks of submission, consider your tender unsuccessful.
