Thank you for requesting Self-Hosted End User Training. This document will help you identify the steps and information required to request a SCORM compliant version of the Self-Hosted End User Training course(s).

Overview

Self-hosted End User Training courses are available as SCORM compliant courses. That means that you can download a course and import it into your organization’s internal LMS for tracking and distribution.

Because SCORM comes with a variety of options and in a variety of versions, we need some information about your LMS so we can create the correct SCORM package for you.

Work with you LMS team to identify the courses and parameters required to host this SCORM compliant training.

1: Which course do you need?

The following courses can be requested for SCORM compliant files:

► OnBase 16

  • OnBase Client “Thick Client”
  • Unity Client
  • Web Client
  • Integration for Microsoft Outlook

► OnBase 17

  • OnBase Client “Thick Client”
  • Unity Client
  • Web Client
  • Integration for Microsoft Outlook

► OnBase 18

  • OnBase Client “Thick Client”
  • Unity Client
  • Web Client
  • Integration for Microsoft Outlook

2: What SCORM version does your LMS accept?

We can output our courses into the following SCORM formats (choose one):

► SCORM 2004

► SCORM 1.2

► AICC

► Tin Can API

3: How does your LMS report completion?

Each LMS views completion based either on its own logic or the logic that has been configured by the LMS owner. LMS reporting is generally how the course will display based on the user’s success or completion status.

We can set our LMS reporting to the following (choose one):

► Passed/Incomplete

► Passed/Failed

► Completed/Incomplete

► Completed/Failed

4: Submit your request

Once you have discussed the 4 items above with your LMS team, complete the following steps to place your request.

Please Note: The Training.Hyland.com team is unable to provide support for installation or maintenance of any Self-Hosted courses or SCORM Self-Hosted courses due to the variety of systems that may be used and the variables they impose.

  1. Email with the decisions you made with your LMS team:
  2. Which course do you need? (i.e. “OnBase 16 Unity End User Training”)
  3. What SCORM version does your LMS accept?
  4. How does your LMS report completion?
  5. Name and Email of the person to follow-up with questions
  6. Most requests will be fulfilled within 10 business days via email, and users will have 5 days to access the secure download site for the SCORM package (.zip).
