3 GENERAL PROVISIONS

3.1 Brief description of the content of the discipline:

BP in invertebrate zoology is a fundamental biological science in the system of education. BP on Invertebrate Zoology gives factual information on the structure , processes of life, ecology, behavior , distribution and diversity of living organisms.

BP in invertebrate zoology at the present stage of development of science is a synthetic discipline , aimed at studying the variety of wildlife as functional integrity . Essential zoology - in discussions on studying the levels of structural organization of life on earth and the phasing of evolution.

At the heart rate characteristics are levels of structural organization of animals , taxonomy and phylogeny analysis of taxonomic groups and characteristics of 22 types of invertebrates. Large workshop on invertebrate zoology animals - one of the basic sciences , providing general theoretical training biologists.

3.2 The main objective of the course - to promote the training of young professionals - zoologists to research work :

- Memorization and reproduction of the material studied ;

- The development of zoological methods in a practical and research work.

- The ability to analyze the material studied ;

- Correct assessment of the material studied .

3.3 Problems of the discipline :

- Expansion of knowledge in zoology of invertebrates ;

- A detailed study of the structure of zoological objects ;

- Independent work with the special literature ;

- The ability to produce technical drawings of objects of study .

3.4 Requirements for the knowledge and skills of students.

In the course of studying the discipline students , as future professionals , biologists need to master the following knowledge and skills :

- To activate the self-study ;

- Actively improving the quality of education;

- Knowledge of all levels of the organization of life and milestones in the evolution of vertebrates and invertebrates ;

- Knowledge of all taxonomic ranks invertebrates and vertebrates ;

- Practical skills to identify animals;

- Mastery of the simplest methods of morphological studies of objects.

- Аcquire the skills definition of invertebrates

3.5 Prerequisites course

invertebrate zoology

3.6 Postrekvizity course

Vertebrate zoology, teaching practice .
