“Welcome everyone to the Trailways Safety Awards Dinner Gala --- I’m Pat Ziska of MCI. Before we get started, all of us at MCI congratulate Trailways on its eightieth anniversary! What an amazing accomplishment. Most importantly, I was happy to hear that Safety Standards were the founding principles of Trailways eighty years ago. And we know it is the top priority still today. We are so proud to sponsor this wonderful and important event each year to recognize the best safety records in the Trailways system. Safety is of the utmost importance to us at MCI as well .”

I. The first award is for the Trailways Fleet Safety Award in the category of
Less Than Two Million Miles Traveled in the Charter & Tour Division… And the recipient is….
Martz Trailways of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania
It is a founding company of Trailways 80 years ago.
II. The second award is the Trailways Fleet Safety Award in the
category of More than Two Million Miles Traveled in the Scheduled Route Division…
…and the winner is Burlington Trailways of West Burlington, Iowa
III. The third award is the Trailways Fleet Safety Award in the category of Less Than Two Million Miles Traveled in the Scheduled Route Division…
…and the recipient is Pine Hill Trailways of Hurley, New York
IV. The last award tonight is the “Most Improved” Fleet Safety Award. The winner of this category is SPECIAL
They not only win it for the Charter & Tour Division, they win it for the Scheduled Route Division, Too!
