Meeting Minutes 2-15-2012

Fundraisers –

  1. Gardners Pretzel Rods – Student Fundraiser was very successful! Expected profit of over $800.
  2. Cooke Tavern Packaged Soup Sale – Planned for March 7 – 21, 2012. This is a Parent fundraiser. Order forms will be distributed at the Parent Meeting on Feb 21, 2012.
  3. Chicken BBQ – Mike and Sue Swartz provided additional information on this fundraiser. Ticket Sales will be April 9 – 25th. Pickup is May 19, 2012. We need parents and students to help on May 19th.

Coach’s Report –

  1. Mandatory Parent Meeting will be held Tuesday, Feb 21, 2012 at 6:30pm in the High School Cafeteria.
  2. Group reviewed the info page for Parent meeting
  3. Winter workouts continue on Tuesday and Thursday.
  4. Track & Field season officially begins on Monday, March 5th. This is the first day of practice.
  5. Banners – the school district will pay for the team banners. The Booster Club plans to purchase banners for individual winners next year. This expense will be part of the Booster Club’s budget for 2012/13. Banners will be placed in the school gym later this spring.
  6. Athletic Field Use and Feasibility Study – Coach Miller was invited to be a part of this sub-committee which will update the 2005 Study. This is a great opportunity to have input to the planning process. Coach will keep Booster Club informed of the sub-committee’s progress. Important Dates

March 5 –Monday – First day of practice

March 8 & 9 – Thursday & Friday – No School, but we will still have practice!

March 14 – Wednesday – PRIDE T shirt orders are DUE

March 17 – Saturday – Uniform Pickup at High School Stadium from 9-11am

March 19 – Monday – Team Pictures

March 21 – Wednesday – next Booster Club meeting 7pm in the BAHS Cafeteria

March 22 – Thursday – Cooke Tavern Soup Sale orders are due

April 9 – Monday – No School, but we will still have practice!

Booster Club meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7pm in the BAHS Cafeteria

End of Season Banquet – Tentative Dates are June 5th or June 6th at Faith United Methodist Church

  2. Cooke Tavern Packaged Soup Sale – Sales period is March 7 – 21st. This is a Parent fundraiser. Order forms will be distributed at the Parent Meeting on Feb 21st. Orders must be turned in to Coach Miller or a Parent Rep by Thursday, March 22nd. Pickup orders at BAHS on Thursday, March 29th.
  3. Chicken BBQ –Ticket sales April 9 – 25th. This is a Parent fundraiser. Order forms will be distributed later. We would like each family to sell 5 tickets. These are ½ chickens grilled by Fritz McGrill (The Company Grill). Pickup is May 19th by NOON. We will need some parents and students to help.
