Toys R Us Vendor RegistrationTraining
The process for Vendors to request access the LeanLogistics Appointment Scheduling site is illustrated in this document.
The process involves the vendor or carrier requesting access to appoint TRU shipments within the LeanLogistics 3rd Party Appointment Scheduling website. If the third party requesting access is a prepaid vendor, they will then be setup by TRU to provide ready to ship information on the LeanLogistics Supplier Inbound Management website. Setting up Prepaid suppliers will be handled by TRU as an internal process using the information that the 3rd party user entered to register for appointment scheduling.
The topics discussed in this document include:
- User Registration Process – Existing LeanLogistics 3rd Party Users
- User Registration Process – NewLeanLogistics3rd Party Users
I.User Registration Process
A.Existing LeanLogistics User
Existing Lean User
If you already have a Lean 3rd party login, you can simply request access to TRU to schedule appointments at a TRU DC. This is done from your main screen when you log in. Select “Request Access” from the top right of your main screen.
Selecting “Request Access” allows you to access a list of companies that are active in Lean using Third Party Appointment Scheduling. Upon selecting the company, it will display any questions that TRU would like answered to validate the user. In the example below, TRU is requesting that you must provide a phone numberand your Vendor ID.
Once TRU has approved your access request, you will receive an email confirming the approval. If for some reason you are not approved, you will receive an email noting you are declined for access. At this point you should call TRU Logistics at o request more information on your declined access.
B.New LeanLogistics User
A new LeanLogistics User will go to the LeanLogistics login page ( ) and select the “LOGIN” button. The following screen will come up and you will select “Third Party Registration” toward the bottom of the page.
The registration screen below will appear and the new user will need to fill out this information to obtain a login into the Lean Appt Scheduling page. All fields with an asterisk are required information including the Company type (Customer, Carrier or Supplier). It is recommended that the new user select the check box to receive advisory information. This will allow the user to receive email notices when there are changes or updates to appointment requests or supplier update information.
*If you are a vendor, please select “Supplier.”
Once the new user selects save, they will receive an email requesting they validate their email address. Another email will provide the user with login information and a temporary password. Once the user validates their email address, they can then log into the Lean Appointment Scheduling module ( and select the “LOGIN” button) but they will not be associated with any shipper.
