ANNUAL TOWN MEETING

Monday 26th April 2010 at 7p.m

in the Lydd War Memorial Institute, 14 Station Road, Lydd

Notice is hereby given of the Annual Assembly of the Town Meeting for the Town & Parish of Lydd. The meeting is open to the public unless resolved otherwise, but only persons who are registered as local government electors for the Town & Parish of Lydd will be entitled to vote at the meeting.

All who attend the meeting please sign the attendance book which is available at all the meetings

To approve and sign the minutes of the meetings on 14th April and 12th November 2009, which will be taken as read having been available for inspection at the Guildhall, the library and on the Town Council’s website at: www.lyddtc.kentparishes.gov.uk

2.  TOWN COUNCIL

To receive the annual report of Lydd Town Council from the Town Mayor, Cllr. David Kersey

3.  TOWN COUNCIL’S ACCOUNTS

To receive the draft accounts of the Town Council for 2009-10

4.  COUNTY COUNCIL

To receive the annual report of the County Councillor for the Romney Marsh Electoral Division of the County of Kent

5.  DISTRICT COUNCIL

To receive the annual report of the District Councillors representing the Parish of Lydd on Shepway District Council

6.  SCHOOLS

To receive annual reports on the schools within the parish

7.  CHARITIES

To receive the accounts of the Lydd Charities Committee for 2009-10

8.  COMMUNITY GOVERNANCE REVIEW

To discuss the responses and recommendations contained in the Shepway District Council General Purposes Committee Report GP/09/04 made public on February 15th 2010 (as requested by six registered electors)

9.  RESOLUTIONS

To consider any resolutions delivered to the clerk by noon on 26th April
