BYLAW NO.2013-01
Fixing rates for 2013-2015 to be charged by way of rent or service charges for the use of water, water meters and sewer,against persons who own or occupy premises connected to water and sewer or may be required by Bylaw to be connected to the system

WHEREAS the Council by bylaw classify, regulate the time and the manner in which the charges are to be paid and the amounts thereof;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Town of Nokomis, in the Province of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:
1.Persons who own or occupy premises connected to the water system or are
required by bylaw to be connected to the system, shall pay a monthly charge as
per Schedule “A” of this Bylaw.
a)For all new or leased premises connected to the system there
shall be a levy against the person occupying such premises, a
meter or surety deposit as follows:
Meter Deposit______$100.00
b)All disconnected services shall be charged a reconnection fee
of $150.00.
2.Persons who own or occupy premises drained, or required by bylaw to be
drained into the sewer system, shall pay for such service a monthly charge in
accordance in Schedule “A”:
3.Every customer shall pay an infrastructure fee as per Schedule “A”.
4.All persons connected to water and sewer system and service charges imposed
thereon, shall be billed quarterly and payable within 30 days of the date of
billing or services will be disconnected without further notice.
5.There shall be allowed a discount of 5% on services that are prepaid for the
year in advance, providing that such prepayment is made by March 31st in
each year.
6.THE schedule attached and marked "A" shall take effect in all respects as Schedule to Bylaw No 2013-01.
7.This bylaw repeals Bylaw No.2011-04.
8.THErates,charges, tolls or rents contained in this bylaw shall come into force and take effect on the day of approval being issued by the Local Government Committee.

2013 Rates
a)For the first 2000 gallons______$20.58
In excess of 2000 gallons shall be charged $5.80 or
each 1000 gallons of water consumed.
2014 Rates
a)For the first 2000 gallons______$21.61
In excess of 2000 gallons shall be charged $6.10 for
each 1000 gallons of water consumed.
2015 Rates
a)For the first 2000 gallons______$22.69
In excess of 2000 gallons shall be charged $6.40 for
each 1000 gallons of water consumed.
