Regular Meeting Called to Order: Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairman Lynn Schnauber at the Clayton Meeting Room.
Roll Call: Commissioners present: Chairman Lynn Schnauber, Vice Chair Deb Farmer, Hal Matthews, Jim Kenney, Tom Grant, Dale Harvey, Ray Lowe, Lucianne LaPierre (Sec/Treas).
Others Present: Depauville Chief Arnie Disotell, Clayton Chief Chris Barton, Ben Barton, Terry Fox, Justin Taylor, Josh Reome
Agenda Amendments: none
Approval of the minutes: Motion made by Commissioner Kenney to accept the minutes of April 13, 2016 with amendments, 2nd by Commissioner Harvey. Motion carried.
Approval of abstract: Motion made by Commissioner Grant to approve payment of abstract with additions & changes, 2nd by Commissioner Farmer. Motion carried.

Clayton FD: Chief Chris Barton reported on the following:

Request to use credit card to purchase a ladder for $199.00 Motion made to approve request by Commissioner Matthews, 2nd by Commissioner Harvey.
Terry Fox-Requested permission to hold an Open House for acceptance of a piece of steel from the World Trade Center
Ben Barton- Requested permission for NYS Air Brake would like to use truck bay for assembly on 6/8/2016
Terry Fox-Requested permission to have bench honoring Charles Solar 75 year’s service located at the Clayton station by request of the family. Motion made by Commissioner Lowe to grant permission for Clayton Fire Dept to place the bench at the district building, all costs incurred will be paid by the department, 2nd by Commissioner Harvey. Motion carried.

Motion made by Commissioner Harvey to approve four (4) new members: Cassidy Reynolds, Perry Durgan Jr, Jared Haver, Laura Yandow; 2nd by Commissioner Kenney.Motion Carried.

Motion made by Commissioner Harvey to approve use of buildings, 2nd by Commissioner Farmer. Motion carried.
Old Business
- Grants-Deb Farmer-DEC grant matching up to $3,000 available-Both departments will be applying
- Strut Bid (opening)-Lynn Schnauber-tabled
- Clayton Building roof-Dale Harvey-Dale provided commissioners a copy of the arbitrator’s award dated 8/21/2008 and turned the floor over to Justin Taylor to update the commissioners on his findings. Justin has offered to help in any way needed to proceed with warranty. Motion made by Commissioner Famer to seek the opinion of legal counsel, 2nd by Commissioner Matthews. Motion carried.
- June Meeting-Motion made by Commissioner Lowe to reschedule the regular June monthly meeting to Thursday, June 9, 2016, 2nd by Commissioner Grant. Motion carried.
