Rules and Regulations

  1. All State and U.S Coast Guard Local Fish & Game laws must be complied with at all times.
  2. All boats must meet state and local regulations.
  3. Life Jackets must be worn when outboard motors are running regardless of size and speed.
  4. All tournaments will take place...rain or shine. Exceptions may be made due to unsafe conditions, at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
  5. Registration starts 4:30 AM prior to the tournament. All anglers must be registered and pass a boat check at the ramp site prior to the launch at 6:00am.
  6. The starting order is determined by registration order.
  7. Anglers will be required to pay the CASH tournament fee prior to the start of the tournament. All Entry Fees Are Non-Refundable.
  8. All boats must be equipped with an aeratedlivewellor an aerated cooler (no stringers).
  9. A Golden Rule will be used to measure fish at the scale, at the discretion of the Tournament Director or at the request of any participant.
  10. The creel limit is five (5) fish, per boat, in any combination of Large or Smallmouth Bass only.
  11. Sizes/Lengths of Smallmouth or Largemouth bass must comply with and satisfy ALL State/Local and lake rules.
  12. Fish will be measured with mouths closed and tails pinched.
  13. All fish will be brought to the scale in weigh bags containing water.
  14. No live bait is permitted at any time.
  15. Landing nets are permitted.
  16. Trolling is prohibited as a means of catching fish.
  17. All bass must be caught live and in a conventional sporting manner. Anyone guilty of snagging visible fish will have his or her catch disqualified.
  18. No fishing within 25 yards of any anchored boat with the front trolling motor out of the water.
  19. All members must stop fishing and be present at the ramp area at the end of the tournament as called by the Tournament Director.Example:The tournament ends at 2:00pm, be there at 2:00pm or earlier. At 2:01pm,if you are not within normal talking distance of the ramp, youWILLbe considered late and youwillbe given an 8-ounce deduction penalty per minute...after 5 minutes, you will be disqualified, despite the weight of your bag of fish.
  20. An Angler must be present at weigh-in for their fish to be weighed. On-the-water transferring of fish is prohibited, with the exception of mechanicallivewellfailures, at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
  21. Any fish that measures short will result in a 1-pound deduction of total weight, the short fish will not be weighed.
  22. You may weigh dead fish; however, an 8-ounce penalty will be applied per dead fish. No Culling Dead Fish!!
  23. All fish brought to the scale will be released back into the waters from which the fish was caught, (dead fish will be properly disposed of).
  24. All disputes and protests will be filed with the Tournament Director prior to weigh-in. The Tournament Director's decision is final in all cases.
  25. All ties of your bag of fish’s weight will be broken by thelunker. In the event that thelunkersare tied, the two (2) places will combine money and besplit 50-50. If an angler does not weigh in a lunker, tie will go to angler that did.
  26. If theweight of two (2)lunkers, for a tournament arethe same, the money will be split 50-50.
  27. Any member determined to be cheating will be DISQUALIFIEDfrom the tournament and any future Delaware River Tournament Trail.
