TOPIC: 10th & 11th GRADE PSAT RESULTS

Individual student PSAT results and test booklets will be available to be picked up during lunches this Wednesday and Thursday in the counseling office.

TOPIC: DIAMOND QUEENS

There will be Diamond Queens meeting today, Tuesday, Feb.9th. Freshmen and sophomores come after school to pick your player. Don’t forget to bring money for your shirt and your posters!

TOPIC: PROJECT GRADUATION

Attention Seniors AND Senior Parents - We will be having a 2016 Project Graduation meeting tonight February 09, 2016 @ 6 p.m. at the EVHS library

Project Graduation is a program offered by many high schools in the United States, in which organized, adult-supervised and alcohol-free activities are offered as part of a post-graduation party, as an alternative to student-run events involving alcoholic beverages or other drugs.

HOSA members: We will be meeting Wednesday Feb 10before school in the Health Science lab. We need everyone to come and help us plan our next blood drive on Feb 24.

TOPIC: BE-YOU-TIFUL WEEK

Hey East View!Thisweek is Be-YOU-tiful week! Student Council is encouraging everyone to express yourinner beauty and to love yourselfjust the way youare.

Today is“Treat Your Self Tuesday”: In the morning before school starts, there will be Student Council Members handing out free bottles of water. Drinking water improves health, and a healthy body is a beautiful body.

Tomorrow will be“Woke up Like This Wednesday”:Embrace your natural self and come to school without any make-up or styling your hair. Dress as if you have no one to impress--because you are beautiful just the way you are!(Not aPJday!)

TOPIC: BOYS GOLF

The Boys Golf Team placed 2nd at the Taylor High School Tournament played at Mustang Creek Golf Club.

Sophomore Jimmy Hebert played well and won first inthe Individual Championship.Collin Lansdale also was placed on the All-Tournament Team.Other members of the team were Rankin Timmons, Jack Richison, and Nick Hernandez

TOPIC: CULINARY ARTS MEETING

There will be a Culinary Club meeting this Wednesday at 4pm in room 144. We will be making valentines cake pops!

TOPIC: SCHOLARSHIPS

Seniors who currently have a 3.5 GPA or better are eligible to apply for The Judge Greenleaf Fisk Scholarship. The application can be found on the EVHS Counseling Website or in the EVHS Counseling Office. The deadline to apply is March 25th

The Georgetown Area Car Club Bob Olofson Memorial Scholarship is available to seniors. Please go by the counseling office to pick up an application. The deadline to apply is April 1st.

The Texas Builders Foundation Scholarship is available to seniors who are pursuing a building trade certification.

Go to TexasBuildersFoundation.org to fill out application. The deadline is: April 29th.

The Leola W. and Charles H Hugg Trust Scholarship is available to high school seniors. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is May 1st. Please go by the counseling office to pick up an application.

Seniors - If you have been accepted to Texas State Technical College, please go by the counseling office to request information concerning a scholarship offer from this school.

There are currently over 20 local scholarships available and new ones arriving almost daily. Don’t miss this opportunity!
