TOP OF THE NEWS:

Box Tops submissions are due by October 21st! (see attached flyer) Hey Trojans! Did you know you can help earn money for our school by collecting Box Tops? Clay Middle School earns 10 cents per Box Top - they can be turned in to your home room or dropped off in the front office. Be sure to ask your friends and family to collect too!

Please help the volunteers who count and package our submission and be sure to:

- place Box Tops into baggies and label quantity on outside (no more than 50 per bag please)

- only turn in Box Tops that have not expired

- cut out Box tops along dotted line, labels cut without the expiration date cannot be submitted for payment

Otis Spunkmeyer Prize Day isWednesday, November 9thduring the all lunch periods. If a student is absent that day, we will draw for them and have their prizes delivered to their Core Plus teacher. So, EVERYONE will get their prizes that day, regardless of whether they're at school or not.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

Book Fair coming soon:Clay Media Center's Scholastic Book Fair will be held onNovember 10th-18thin the Greatness Room. Please support the Book Fair - the proceeds go towards reading materials and resources, student incentives and Makerspace.We will be open everyday during school hours and the evenings ofNovember 10th-12thfrom6:00-8:30pm(during the play performance). Volunteers will be needed during school hours. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Marcia (current background check must be on file to volunteer). A SignUpGenius will be sent at the end of October.

*OPEN position*-PTOis still in need of a Concessions Director!This person would work with the Athletic Director, John Corcoran, to arrange concession stand volunteers for home sport events. Please contactJen Pletcher f you are interested in learning more.

Hamilton County Coat DriveReminder:Hamilton County Kids Coat Drive this week!

Wrap Hamilton County families in warmth and comfort all winter long! Have your student drop off gently used coats, hats, mittens, gloves and boots in the boxes near front lobby this week @ Clay Middle.

Carmel High School's Ambassadors & Accents annual "Cabaret"event will be on Saturday, October 8th from 6-9pm in the CHS Freshman cafeteria. An evening ofentertainment, desserts and a silent auction. For more info, call CarolOutland at CHS at317/846-7721, ext. 7085.
