TOP AGILITY & JUMPING DOG AWARDS RULES

Trialling Season is 1st October to 30th September

Top Novice Agility Titles (AD 200; 300; 400; 500 & 600)

Goes to the dog that accumulates the most points for their title in each height class. Title must be gained within 12 months of first trial competed in.

Top Novice Jumping Titles (JD 200; 300; 400; 500 & 600)

Goes to the dog that accumulates the most points for their title in each height class. Title must be gained within 12 months of first trial competed in.

Top Excellent Agility Titles (ADX 200; 300; 400; 500 & 600)

Goes to the dog that accumulates the most points for their title in each height class. Title must be gained within 12 months of first trial competed in.

Top Excellent Jumping Titles (JDX 200; 300; 400; 500 & 600)

Goes to the dog that accumulates the most points for their title in each height class. Title must be gained within 12 months of first trial competed in.

Top Open Agility Title (ADO)

Goes to the dog that accumulates the most points for their title in each height class. Title must be gained within 12 months of first trial competed in.

Top Open Jumping Title (JDO)

Goes to the dog that accumulates the most points for their title. Title must be gained within 12 months of first trial competed in.

Top Open Agility Trialling Award

Goes to the dog that accumulates the most points over the trialing year. (taken over 2/3rds of the trials)

Top Open Jumping Trialling Award

Goes to the dog that accumulates the most points over the trialing year. (taken over 2/3rds of the trials)

Top Masters Agility Titles (ADM 200; 300; 400; 500 & 600)

Goes to the dog that accumulates the most points for their title in each height class. Title must be gained within 2 years of first trial competed in. Only dogs that gain their title in the award year are eligible.

Top Masters Jumping Titles (JDM 200; 300; 400; 500 & 600)

Goes to the dog that accumulates the most points for their title in each height class. Title must be gained within 2 years of first trial competed in. Only dogs that gain their title in the award year are eligible.

Top Country Competitor Award

Best 6 trial rankings for any class – Agility or Jumping. Points will be taken from the ranking and qualification tables.

To be eligible for this award, the dog and owner must reside over 80km or more from the Adelaide GPO. It is requested that competitors who fill this requirement, inform the Agility Advisory Committee, so they maybe included for this award.

Team Excellence Award

Goes to the team (dog and same handler) who accumulate the most double qualifications in both masters agility and masters jumping at the same trial, must have a minimum of 5 doubles to qualify for this award.

TOP AGILITY & JUMPING DOG

The best results for a dog count for the number of trials up to the equivalent of 2/3 of the total number of trials for the trialling season. (The exact number to be notified).

Results will be taken over 2/3rds of the total number of trials (the exact number to be notified).

The results for each dog are only in the highest class for which the dog is eligible to be entered into on the day of the result. e.g. a dog eligible for excellent only, may include the results for that class, but once the dog is eligible for masters, only masters results may be included.

The date of eligibility for the next highest class is the date from which that dog may be elevated to that class. i.e. the first trial after which the dog is eligible to apply for the title

Points system used for all Agility/Jumping awards are as follows:

Qualifying Points: Novice – 10 points Excellent or Open – 15 points Masters – 20 points

Ranking Points:

Regular Trials or Individual Height Trials with 11 or more dogs in the Height Class –

1st – 12 points; 2nd – 10 points; 3rd – 8 points; 4th – 6 Points; 5th – 4 points; 6th – 2 points; 7th – 1 point

Individual Height Trials with between 6 and 10 dogs in the Height Class –

1st – 6 points; 2nd – 5 points; 3rd – 4 points; 4th – 3 Points; 5th – 2 points; 6th – 1 point

Individual Height Trials with 5 dogs or less in the Height Class –

1st – 3 points; 2nd – 2 points; 3rd – 1 point

NOTE:

1. Only official SA Canine Association trials will be scored. Interstate and Restricted trials will be excluded, with the exception of the National Agility Trial, which counts towards title awards only.

2. Points accumulated for Titled awards will cease when the dog has qualified for its title in that class.

3. All competitors must be financial members of the SA Canine Association.

Novice Agility & Jumping - 3 Qualifications under 2 different judges.

Excellent Agility & Jumping - 5 Qualifications under 2 different judges.

Open Agility & Jumping - 5 Qualifications under 3 different judges.
Master Agility & Jumping - 7 Qualifications under 3 different judges
