Research Consultant, Advisory Board for the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Effectiveness Project being conducted by the Edmund S. Muskie School of Public Service, Institute for Child & Family Policy. The Violence Against Women Office in Washington, D.C is sponsoring this project. (2002-2005).

Research Consultant, Statewide Needs Assessment for the Texas Council on Family Violence. Focus groups and telephone interviews conducted with domestic violence service providers, clients and potential clients throughout the State of Texas. The Research Institute on Violence and Social Injustice conducted project. (2000-2001).

Executive Director, Albuquerque Rape Crisis Center–University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center, Albuquerque, New Mexico. (1997-1999). Supervised the delivery of services to sexual assault survivors and their loved ones; hired and supervised all staff; wrote grant proposals and reports; developed budgets and agency policies; initiated program evaluation; provided public education by presenting at workshops, conferences, and community events; organized and participated in fundraising events; trained volunteers and professionals; provided crisis intervention to sexual assault survivors and their loved ones.

Supervised the delivery of direct services to survivors of sexual assault; hired and supervised all direct service staff; provided crisis intervention and individual and group therapy to sexual assault survivors; developed program policies; expanded and evaluated programs; assisted in development and implementation of a People of Color Outreach Plan; prepared grant reports; assisted with budget development, grant writing, and fundraising activities; chaired interagency committee on sexual assault that developed a sexual assault nurse examiners training curriculum; provided training to professionals and volunteers.
