The mission of TLL is to provide a safe, supportive environment for the children of our community in which to learn sportsmanship, teamwork, skills, and respect for the game of baseball. The Managers & Coaches are the most important part of our organization. We strive to select those that best exemplify the values of Little League Baseball.

If appointed as Manager or Coach with Tomball Little League, I agree to:

·  Fully Support & Participate in all League activities including coaching clinics, fundraisers & special programs;

·  Treat players, parents, fellow coaches & managers, umpires, scorekeepers, & League officials with respect at all times;

·  Set an example, on and off the playing field, of good sportsmanship for players;

·  Provide team with organized practices at times designated by the league;

·  Not use any tobacco or alcohol products during practices, games or in presence of Little League players;

·  Refrain from using any profanity, abusive, highly critical, or demeaning language;

·  Take responsibility for League equipment and return promptly at the conclusion of the season.

·  Follow established guidelines for any field maintenance required before or after games by coaches.

·  Be a “team” player by acting in the best interest of the players, your team, and the League.

·  Ensure only volunteers on the field are those that have been cleared by background checks & have visible badges.

·  Follow all rules established by Tomball Little League and Little League International.

There are no vested managers or coaches in Little League Baseball. Each Manager and Coach must reapply each season. Candidates are evaluated on experience, leadership, teaching ability, organizational skills, sportsmanship, past experience and ability to be a strong role model.
