STABLE RULES

1.Stable hours are 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily.

2.All Boarders, Participants, Spectators and Guest must sign a Participant Release of Liability. A parent or guardian must sign for minors.

3.It is recommended that all Participants wear Stable provided properly fitted and secured equine helmet (ASTM/SEI standards) at all times while participating in any equine activities; however, anyone choosing to ride without protective equine helmet must indicate on the Release of Liability form. Participants always ride at their own risk and do not hold Tokota Horse Stables accountable for any injuries or death resulting from participating in equine activities.

4.No jumping without instructor permission, no exceptions. Participant safety is our main concern.

5.Horses may not be lunged in round pen where lessons are in progress.

6.In the event of an accident or potential injury, Boarder, Participant, Spectator or Guest agrees to ride in an ambulance and/or go to a hospital emergency room at Stable’s request.

7.No loose dogs in the stables or round pens.

8.No alcoholic drinking allowed on premises.

9.No smoking allowed inside barn.

10.No unattended minors. Parent or responsible adult must accompany any and all children.

11.No running, no yelling, no raucous behavior in the stable or on the premises.

12.Horses are not allowed to be left unattended or untied.

13.Stable is not responsible for any damage to vehicles while parked on the premises.

14.Do not hand feed horses treats or hay. Treats may be given in bucket.

15.Boarders (other than the stall of their own horse), Participants, Spectators and Guest are not allowed to enter stalls and tack trunk rooms without the owners permission. Do not borrow other people's tack or equipment without the knowledge and permission of the owner.

16.If a lesson is in session and you wish to enter the round pen, you will need permission from the attending instructor first.

17.No riding is permitted in stable aisles or stalls.

18.Always turn all lights off when finished and close any gate that you open.

19.No parking on grass. No parking in front of stable doors.

20.No one is allowed in the stable kitchen without permission from the owner or instructor.

21.Any Boarder or Participant bringing their own horse on the premises are required to provide Stable with a copy of annual Coggins, shots, and worming.

22.Veterinary bills are the responsibility of the horse owner. Payments for services should be made directly to the provider.

23.No outside trainers will be allowed to conduct services on premises.

24.All riders must arrive 15-30 minutes prior to lesson time. If you are late, you may still ride, but lesson will conclude at the scheduled time and be charged in full.

25.Spurs and or whips may only be used if requested by the instructor during a lesson.

26.With the exception of actual emergencies, lessons must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance, or you will be charged full price for late cancellations or no shows.

27.If a lesson participant is the only one to show up for a group lesson, they will receive a 30-minute private for the group lesson rate.

28.It is the responsibility of the Boarders, Participants, Spectators and Guest to clean up after themselves. Please keep all areas neat and clean.
