All countries have its own music, because of their specific culture. Music reflects cultures and societies. In Korea, there are many kinds of musics and they reflects their ages.

In Cho-sun dynasity, there was the 'Chang' which was a kind of Korea traditional musics. In that age, people had a grudge, because they could not speak freely and many things were stopped by the power of dynasity. So people made a song which reflects their life. They expressed their emotions by singing.

In70's, there was many songs against the dictatorship. These songs were forbidden , so people made their lyrics indirectly. Of course, all people who loved freedom knew about their pristine meanings.

Music give us encouragement and hope even though they cannot express directly. It's one way of express the cultures and societies in some ages.
