Today Tonight – “ACDC” Competition

Terms and Conditions

By entering the “Today Tonight – AC/DC” Competition, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

1. STANDARD TERMS

1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.

2. WHO CAN ENTER?

2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents over the age of 18 in South Australia where the Channel Seven signal is received.

2.2 Employees and their immediate families of Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Brian Gleeson Event Management, and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.

3. HOW TO ENTER

3.1 The Competition commences on Monday 12th October at 18:30 ACDT and concludes on Friday16th of October at 12:00 noon ACDT (“the Competition Period”).

3.2 In order to enter, viewers must watch Today Tonight (“the Program”) on the Seven Network. From Monday through Thursday there will be a Competition segment aired during the Program with one question asked each night.

3.3 In order to enter, viewers must correctly answer the question and enter on Today Tonight Adelaide’s competition website by 12:00 noon the following day.

3.4 To be eligible for the main prize of the Audi Stadium VIP package, all entries must be received by Midday ACDT Friday 16th October. The time of entry will in each case be by the time the web based entry is received.

3.6 Only one entry per household will be accepted.

3.7 Four winners will be chosen each night from Monday through Thursday. Nightly winners will receive General Admission double passes to the AC/DC Concert on Saturday 21st November 2015 at Adelaide Oval.

4. PRIZES

4.1 There will be 16 double General Admission winners and one major prize winner.

4.2 The prizes are:

Total prize value is $5868. Prize value is correct as at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken.

4.3 In participating in the prizes, the winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winners (and their companions) agree to grant the Promoter a perpetual and exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners (and their companions) will not be entitled to any fee for such use.

4.4 The winners agree they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.

4.5 The promoter and affiliates and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable in respect of any loss or claim arising from any errors, delays or other.

4.6 Prizes cannot be transferred nor redeemed for cash. Winners should seek independent financial advice about any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings.

4.7 All elements are subject to availability at time of booking

5. HOW TO WIN

5.1 There will be 16 minor winners selected based on the skills used to answer a question given each night over a 4 night period. Please - only one entry per household. Nightly winners will win a double GA ticket to AC/DC concert on Saturday 21st November at Adelaide Oval.

5.2 To be eligible for the main prize, you must enter correctly on our website: www.todaytonightadelaide.com.au by 12 noon on Friday 16th Oct. One (1) major winner will be drawn at random from the pool of correct entries at Seven Network Operations premises at 12:30pm ACDT and announced on air during the Today Tonight programme on Friday 16th October. All who correctly entered the competition throughout the week will be eligible with the exception of those who have won minor prizes.

5.3 The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.

5.4 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and prize supplier’s requirements.

5.5 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner (and any companions) may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

5.7 The minor winners will be announced on air each night, Tuesday through to Friday.

5.8 The major winner will be announced on air on Friday 16th October and listed on the Today Tonight Adelaide website after the draw.

6. NO LIABILITY

6.1  In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to state government legislation.

6.2 Seven Network (Operations) Limited & affiliates, and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:

a) during the selection process;

b) whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the draw;

c) in the participation in any prize;

d) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;

e) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any Internet network or lines or communications network related to or resulting from participation in this Competition.

6.3 Seven Network (Operations) Limited assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.

6.4 If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation.

7. PROMOTER’S DETAILS

7.1 The Promoter is Seven Network (Operations) Limited (ABN 65 052 845 262) of Level 2, 38-42 Pirrama Road, Pyrmont, NSW 2009.

7.2 The sponsor is Brian Gleeson Event Management.

7.3 Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. Seven Network Limited (ABN 65 052 845 262) and its related entities (“Seven”), is collecting the entrant's personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this Competition (including but not limited to determining and notifying winners), and, if you consent, for the purpose of Seven sending you Competition and direct marketing material in relation to Seven’s programs and products and services available through Seven and its business partners. The entrant may request access to his or her personal information by writing to Today Tonight, Channel Seven Adelaide., 40 Port Road, Hindmarsh SA 5007.
