Today’s Scripture
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
(1 Corinthians 2:9, NKJV)

You Haven’t Seen Anything Yet!
Today’s verse is really an encouragement for all of us to raise our level of expectancy. It’s like God is saying to us, “You think you’re blessed? You haven’t seen anything yet!” Sure, God has been good to you, but He also has things for your future that if He told you right now, it would boggle your mind. You wouldn’t even believe it!

Know today that God wants to bless you in your future. He wants to overwhelm you with His goodness and with things so wonderful you can’t even fathom it!

Today, get ready for increase. Get prepared for promotion. This year is the year to step into blessings you can’t even imagine. Keep believing, keep obeying His Word, and keep your heart open because you haven’t seen anything yet!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, today I raise my level of expectancy. I choose to take the limits off of my thinking. I know that You are able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all I could ever ask, think or imagine. Thank You for the blessing You have in store for me in Jesus’ name! Amen.”

THE TONGUE CAN BE YOUR WORST ENEMY!

  • Your words, your dreams, and your thoughts have power to create conditions in your life. What you speak about, you can bring about.
  • If you keep saying you can't stand your job, you might lose your job.
  • If you keep saying you can't stand your car, your car could be stolen or just stop operating.
  • If you keep saying you're broke, guess what? You'll always be broke.
  • If you keep saying you can't trust a man or trust a woman, you will always find someone in your life to hurt and betray you.
  • If you keep saying you can't find a job, you will remain unemployed.
  • If you keep saying you can't find someone to love you or believe in you, your very thought will attract more experiences to confirm your beliefs.
  • If you keep talking about a divorce or break up in a relationship, then you might end up with it.
  • Turn your thoughts and conversations around to be more positive and power packed with faith, hope, love and action.
  • Don't be afraid to believe that you can have what you want and deserve

Watch your Thoughts, they become words.
Watch your Words, they become actions.
Watch your Actions, they become habits.
Watch your Habits, they become character.
Watch your Character, for it becomes your Destiny

Be Blessed
Watch how your circumstances and situations begin to change when you change the way you speak.

'Life is like melted butter. .. .once things cool down, it can be reshaped!'

Thoughts of the Month of June

(Taken from Our Daily Bread)

  • Every day we can reject destructive habits and experience new life in Jesus.
  • Most things worth doing are difficult.
  • God can purge our hearts of the sin that destroys our intimacy with Him and others.
  • Living for Christ brings true freedom.
  • In the darkest hours of life, only through the eyes of faith can we see the loving hand of God.
  • God loved us first so we can love others.
  • We are good – and we please God – when our hope and faith are in Christ alone, not in our goodness.
  • In our faith and service, rest is as important as work.
  • Praise is the overflow of a joyful heart.
  • Sin will not ultimately be judged by the way we see it, but by the way God sees it.
  • The prayer of the feeblest saint … is a terror to Satan.
  • God is everywhere, is available every time, and listens always.
  • The God of the cosmos cares for us intimately.
  • We can speak to the Lord as a friend.
  • God uses present circumstances to prepare us for the future.
  • All Scripture helps us see our need of Jesus.
  • The Father gave us the Spirit to make us like the Son.
  • God’s forgiveness defies our labels of failure or pride.
  • Never measure God’s unlimited power by your limited expectations.
  • God gives us the seasons of our lives.
  • When others see us, may what they see speak well of the Savior.
  • God is with us in all our struggles.
  • The secret of true service is absolute faithfulness wherever God places you.
  • The man who lives in a small community lives in a much larger world.
  • As the years add up, God’s faithfulness keeps multiplying.
  • God delights in saving His children.
  • The Christian’s heart is the Holy Spirit’s home.
  • Monitor your heart daily to avoid wandering from God’s wisdom.
  • Through prayer, we have instant access to our Father.
  • God’s kingdom is alive and active in all generations.
  • Jesus offers new life.

Tip Sheet on Healthy Living

Do you have a family history of chronic disease?

There are three ways your healthcare provider can help you stay healthy – prevention, screening and treatment. Unfortunately, many people see their healthcare providers only to get treated when they are sick. These people often miss lifesaving opportunities to prevent health problems or catch them at an early stage, when they can be treated most easily.

Your healthcare provider will ask about your family history. Certain forms of cancer, diabetes, heart disease and stroke can run in some families. Information about health problems among your closest relatives will help tell your healthcare provider whether you need to be especially cautious about preventing certain diseases through lifestyle changes or medication.

Be sure to ask your healthcare provider about screening tests recommended by the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association and American Heart Association and other tests and services to determine which ones are right for you.
