Role Purpose
Use your marketing knowledge, events management experience and understanding of the importance of legacy fundraising to succeed in an exciting new role that creates and organises a range of inspirational external events across Scope to cultivate and inform our key legacy prospects.

Key Accountabilities
General
  • To work seamlessly across department or team boundaries in a collaborative and constructive manner to achieve Scope’s aims.
  • To demonstrate a commitment to customer service excellence and deliver against the requirements of Scope’s quality framework and behaviours.
  • To work within Scope’s policies and procedures at all times.
  • To represent and speak on behalf of Scope as required.
Role Specific accountabilities
  • To play a proactive role in the development of the relationship management area of the refreshed legacy strategy
  • To develop a robust events programme to offer face to face events to prospects and pledgers to further develop their engagement with Scope
  • To build new supporter relationships across the year, focusing on high value leads
  • To develop and project manage the annual legacy week external campaign alongside the legacy manager, including helping to deliver retail staff training, developing new materials for the campaign and undertaking quality control elements during the week
  • To create three legacy specific newsletters a year to send to supporters, sourcing stories and working with the marketing team to develop artwork, and the supporter development team to ensure a hybrid version goes to active cash/COG/raffle supporters
  • To continue existing pledger cultivation activities, including the annual Christmas card mailing and piggybacking on events at services
  • To manage legacy team digital presence and write SEO copy and social media posts for all of our campaigns
  • To oversee supporter care’s development of the in mem supporter journey and related products
  • To assist legacy manager with services relationship approach and presence at service events to develop relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences.
  • Knowledge of the fundraising marketplace and the trends, opportunities and issues facing legacy giving desirable.
  • Personal direct experience and / or knowledge of disability and disability issues
will be an advantage
