Greetings,

Please join us for the 2016 Fall Quarterly Meetings at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel located at 900 North Shoreline Blvd., Corpus Christi, TX 78401.

The meetings will consist of the TGA Board of Directors meeting and Committee meetings and you are invited to attend our reception dinner golf tournament as well.

Committee Chairs

·  Be prepared to report to the Board of Directors on Friday morning.

·  To have your report appear in the Fall meeting board book you should fax, mail or e-mail a copy of it to arrive at the TGA office no later than Wednesday, October 12 at 10:00 am.

·  Please e-mail your committee members this invitation for the quarterly event today.

·  Schedule your meetings for Thursday, October 20, 2016 - 8:15 am – 11:30 am.

o  The Scholarship Board and Committee will begin 5:30 pm Wednesday Evening- Location TBD in hotel.

Board Meetings Cancelation Policy:

Dinner: Cancellations received 5 days or more prior to the Dinner Outing date are eligible to receive a refund less a $10.00 processing fee or have the full amount as a credit on the TGA account to be used by the end of the calendar year. Cancellations received less than 5 days are not refundable.

Substitute Attendees will be accepted for all events.

Golf:

Cancellations received 11 days or more prior to the Golf Outing date are eligible to receive a refund less a $10.00 processing fee or have the full amount as a credit on the TGA account to be used by the end of the calendar year. Cancellation received less than 11 days are not refundable.

Golf Tournament Details

Cost $60.00

·  If golfing please register with the TGA office no later than Friday, October 7, 2016.

Format to be played:

1.  Captains must make sure that each player’s tee shot is played at least once per nine holes during the 18-hole tournament.

2.  The team captain selects the best shot. Each player plays from within one club length of the ball. A team ball that has been hit into sand or rough must be played from the sand or rough.

3.  This procedure is continued for each shot until the team is on the green.

4.  Each player putts from within six inches of the selected shot.

5.  If your team does not make par, please mark a bogey and move on to the next hole. Do not take any shot over par.

Prize First-, second-, and third-place prizes (provided we have enough teams for a 3rd. place) will be awarded as well as “longest drive” and “closest to the pin.”

Golf Tournament 1, 2, & 3 placement prizes will be determined by a drawing.
