Senior Telecommunication Engineer or Telecommunication Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Managerin daily Telecommunication team’s operation.
  • Maintain Telecommunication network’s reliability and security, ability to locate issue and provide solutions.
  • Design,implement and maintainTelecommunication infrastructure’s changes and enhancements ensuring adherence to industry standards.
  • Ensure Billing’s accuracy and resolvereported issues.
  • To lead teams in the execution of basic to moderate complex Telecommunication projects. Design architecture, document, specify equipment requirements, and implement assigned projects. Provide guidance to other engineers during project implementation.
  • Provide expertise, as necessary, on various Telecommunication network components. Assist and educate other team memberduring the resolution of escalated technical problems.
  • Hands on experience in logical and physical network architecture, traffic monitoring, QoS policies, service architectures, documentation process and audits.
  • Ability to maintain good business relationship with vendors and clients.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Engineering (Computer Science /Telecommunication) or equivalent.
  • Minimum Required skill(s):Asterisk, Linux,ITU-T standard, E1/T1,PSTN, VOIP/SIP.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia & Chinese will be an added advantage.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably male and Seniorcandidate specializing in Telecommunication fields.
  • Advance knowledge onTelecommunication Server, Gateway knowledge, and client-server applications.
  • Advance knowledge on Telecommunication technologies, architectures, platforms and protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of configurations on Gateway, i.e. Cisco gateway, LINUX.
  • Advance Data network knowledge and diagnostic skills.
  • Project management skills and strong leadership skills.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as projects dictates.
  • Attitude of a leader, willing to learn and hard working.
  • Do not mind to “lift the sleeve” attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and handle stress.
  • Self-motivated, innovative and IT savvy.
  • Full-Time position available.
