Report on changes in Policy or Practice that were implemented
1. The seeding format used for the 2011 Sectional Tournament will be continued.
2. For 2011 and thereafter, Thruway Lanes has agreed to lay out the oil pattern to be used at the State Tournament for the Sectional Tournament in order to better prepare the bowlers for the
State Tournament. The same pattern will also be used during the practices leading up to the
State Tournament.
Problems encountered/ concerns
1. The bowling committee will evaluate the format used to determine the All Section team at the 2011 Sectional Tournament at its summer meeting in view of the responses of the coaches to the new format.
2. The bowling committee has decided not to use the Baker Format at the Sectional Tournament
as it would make it difficult to determine the members of the All Section Team if that format were to
to be used.
Recommendations for next season including dates/sites
Recommendations pending meeting of the bowling committee in July.
