REPORTING STRUCTURE
OVERALLPURPOSE
  • To provide technical support for existing and future Zamtel ERP System Modules
  • Ensure ERP System operations and changes are performed according to ITIL standards.
  • Assist in defining, developing and implementing new ERP System requirements

JOB SPECIFICATION
Minimum Qualifications /
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Information Systems.

Professional Registration /
  • CSZ/EIZ or any other recognised body

Minimum Experience /
  • Experience in Application Administration
  • Experience in Oracle and MS SQL Database Administration
  • Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) administration.
  • Experience in Software Programming.
  • Experience with Linux Operating System.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a computing environment as an administrator or software developer

Key Knowledge /
  • Computer literacy / computer skills for computer based jobs
  • Administrative / Clerical competence - skills to classify, arrange in an orderly fashion, arrange / prioritise and select
  • Knowledge of ERP preferably Oracle E-Business Suite
  • Programming and database upkeep knowledge
  • Linux Operating System knowledge

/ To ensure all the pending issues are closed that is customisation of reports and process flows. / Transaction turn-around time of 15sec. / 20
  1. Oracle EBS Payroll
/ To ensure all the pending issues are closed that is customisation of reports and defining and reviewing of Elements which were defined. / Payroll being processed from Oracle EBS. / 20
  1. Oracle EBS Administration and Support.
/ Ensure that Oracle Application is accessible at all times to the users and resolution of queries within time. Also manage all configuration changes. / Uptime of the system of 99.9% / 20
  1. Oracle EBS User Training
/ Ensure that all Oracle EBS users are trained in a particular module / As per agreed timelines / 20
  1. Oracle EBS Data integrity
/ Support Oracle enhancements like integration to other system that is Billing and Point of Sale systems / Ensure the backups are done every day. / 20
