1.Introduction

1.1Purpose of the prototype report

The prototype report serves to provide specification for client (ThrdPlace) in the accordance with the requirements discussed in Win-Session. The prototype aims to mitigates the risk of misinterpretation of requirements and gives the client better perspective of the product.

This version of prototype report provides the following:

- Navigation flow diagram which shows the fundamental features of our project, how those features go through and what the preferred sequence will be

- Screenshots generated by prototype tool, which allows the client to have better understanding of what the project will be finally and make the requirement more clear.

1.2Status of prototype

This is the first version of prototype. Basically, we present several screenshots of basic interface by using prototype tool, in this case, Balsamiq Mockups.

3.Prototype

Table 1: User homepage

Description / This is the homepage when the user logs in. In the announcement section, user can received all news about project or other user who get interested in his/her project. The Recommendation Board is intended for the posting of recommendations, like who is the successful user, from the ThrdPlace.

Pre-condition / Successful log in
Post condition / User may go to projects page, friend page or search similar user or project.

Description / This is the project page which includes all the information of user’s projects. The detailed information like status, location, start date, funds, volunteers and type will be presented in the right section when clicking on specific project.
Related Capability / Manage projects and present detailed information of projects
Pre-condition / This page will appears when users clicked on the project link on the navigation bar
Post condition / User may check the progress of all projects he/she owns

Description / The main part of the page is the table that contains the basic information of user’s friends who are the similar users. The values in the influence column indicate how influential this user will be. User can click on the links in the project column to see the project list of this user,
Related Capability / Present all the information of similar users
Pre-condition / This page will appears when users clicked on the “friend” on the navigation bar
Post condition / User will look up the information of similar users and their corresponding projects.

Description / For accurate search, user should specify the results of the search for projects should be similar to which project he/she owns and also choose the location to limit the area. After results are presented, user can see the information of all the projects he/she want to find, and may click the add button to add this project to his “similar project” list.
Related Capability / Provide the search interface for user searching for similar project by location(Country, State, City)
Pre-condition / This page will appears when users clicked on the “search” on the navigation bar and choose project item in the combo box and choose list mode on the Tabs Bar
Post condition / User will change to map mode or add whatever related project to his project list.

Description / This page provides user with map interface for locating the resulted projects on the map. User may choose the country, state , city and input the zip code to find the projects within the specific area. At the same time, when clicking on the project, this project will pop up on the map and user can review the profile of project owner,

Pre-condition / This page will appears when users choose project item in the combo box and choose map mode on the Tabs Bar
Post condition / User will change to list mode or find the profile review of users associated with specific project in the map interface

Description / This page provides the interface to user for searching similar clients by capital. User can also search for another users living or working within the same community, city or state. After the results are presented in the area of tabs bar, user can find which user is most successful or influential by choosing the corresponding item in the sort combo box.
Related Capability / Searching for similar client by capital(Fund, Volunteers, Supplies) and with his/her community and most successful or influential clients
Pre-condition / This page will appears when users clicked on the “search” on the navigation bar, choose User item in the drop down box and the choose list mode on the Tabs Bar
Post condition / User will change to map mode or request whatever related clients to his friend list.

Description / This page provides user with map interface for locating the resulted clients on and their projects within specific area on the map. User can also choose the country, state , city and input the zip code to find more accurate location in which the clients may be. When clicking the client in this list at the left part of tabs Bar box, all corresponding projects will be highlighted.
Related Capability / Searching for profile review of users associated with specific project in the map interface.
Pre-condition / This page will appears when users choose client item in the combo box and choose map mode on the Tabs Bar
Post condition / User will change to list mode or find the profile review of users associated with specific project in the map interface
