Idioms & Photoshop

Idioms. We use them all the time, often without even realizing it. They're more commonly known as "figures of speech" - the literal definitions of the words used do not actually come into play. Instead, the phrase means something else entirely, often confusing those who are not native speakers of the language.

To "kick the bucket" means "to die," instead of the literal kicking of a physical bucket.

For this assignment, you're to take commonly known idioms and change one letter (and one letter only) to make up a new phrase. Example, "Pull the plug" becomes "Pull the slug." This site help you find the perfect idiom!

Remember - change one letter! Do not delete a letter. Do not add a letter.

As always, have fun, be creative! Follow the guidelines please, and be careful to

avoid using clichés.

Step1

Your first step is to come up with the idiom you are going to use and then the altered idiom.
