The reason why I'm testifying today is because of a personal tragedy. That tragedy includes suffering from agoraphobia and succumbing to using stimulants and alcohol for over a decade. I'd trade all of the computer knowledge I've learned over the years; for an attempt to hike Appalachian Trail. Because when it comes down to it the only thing that really keeps me going is a cup of coffee in the morning, an occasional joint, hiking, and reading books: Now the only thing that keeps me going is a strict adherence to a strict diet, tons of medication, and the only hope of a liver transplant. If cannabis for adult use was legal 15 years ago, I would never have picked up alcohol as I have never liked it.
