OMHSAS will shortly be issuing Employment Plan Guidelines to each county mental health administrator in Pennsylvania. These guidelines set forth the requirement for the annual submission of county employment plans as part of the county mental health plan.
These guidelines were the product of an “Employment Outcomes Workgroup” that was established to assist in implementing recommendations within “A Call to Change: Employment-A Key to Recovery.” *
In order to assist counties in the development of their county employment efforts, OMHSAS will sponsor a Webinar on March 3, 2010 from 10:30-12:30. It is strongly recommended that each county identify a staff person responsible for the development of the county plan to participate in the Webinar. In addition, stakeholders are invited to participate in the Webinar so that they can assist in the development of the local employment plan.
Individuals who wish to participate in the Webinar must register in advance. Instructions for attending the Webinar are attached. For those who cannot attend, or who wish to view the Webinar at a later date, the webinar will be posted on Network of Care at .
