TheWorldBreastfeedingWeekfrom1stto7th August2013wascelebratedallacross thecountry.Thisyear’sthemewas “Breastfeeding Support: Close to Mothers”. BPNIcoordinated theactionsinthecountry. BPNIofficereceived atotalof79reportsfromvariousorganizationsandindividualsfromdifferentparts ofthecountry. Thesereportswereassessedby expertsand15winnersfromorganizationalcategory and only 3 winners from individualcategoryareselected due to insufficient entries in the individual category. So, as mentioned in the announcement instead of total 20 award only 18 awards will be given away.
