New PalestineHigh School is excited about a new chapter in a rich history of successful football. Our next head football coach will be the NPHS’s fifth in school history, and we welcome and thank you for your interest in our community, school, and football tradition.

First and foremost, NewPalestineHigh School is proud of its academic excellence. Most recently NPHS has been awarded and recognized as a NationalBlueRibbonHigh School, one of two this year in the state of Indiana. Additionally, NPHS has been named on several occasions a grade A, FourStarHigh School, as have all of our schools, at some point, throughout the Southern Hancock district. Rest assured that our commitment to academics and athletics go hand in hand. We anticipate teaching availability in 2013 due to retirements.

As an athletic department, our mission is simple:To teach commitment, and develop character in a first class manner. Commitment, Character, and Class lead our players and coaches in the direction of Educational Athletics. Commitment in the classroom and in athletic preparationis essential groundwork. High standards of character and character development are driving forces inestablishing fundamental growth in our school. And lastly, operating in a first class manner as representatives of our community, school, and family help guide our athletes as role-models for our youth. We see our student-athletes as leaders and educators in our community.

35 -7th graders; 32 – 8th graders played in our middle school program

29 Freshmen played on a (9-0) team

37 Returning Soph. and Jr. were (8-1) JV team, (3-7) Varsity

A Fully equipped 5,800 sq/ft weight room facility

Advanced Physical Education class electives for students

3 Full practice fields, with equipment storage shed on site

Parent and community support with a Gridiron Alliance (GIA) Booster Group

Athletic and Administrative Support throughout the district
