TO ALL CMFA MEMBERS

As you know December 13th is the club enrolling night and I hope the following notes will help speed the Queue. Full address, forms and time details are on the web site.

#IF COMING TO THE CLUB/ENROLLING NIGHTplease, bring a pen, print a blank copy of the application form and bring it to the night filled in with all the details except the "for club use only box". Cheques should be made payable to the CHELMSFORD MODEL FLYING ASSOCIATION. Please mark your forms drawing attention to any changes from last year. Please print clearly your email address and check to see if it can be misread. Forms with accompanying cheques should be given direct to me. Please also write on the back of the cheque your name/CMFA number and if paying for another member their name/CMFA number. If all is good you will be handed your 2018 membership card. Lastly please tell me if you intend to obtain your own BMFA insurance or if you want the club to obtain it for you. Your form should also indicate this.

If paying by cash you must have the correct amount ready. Your form should be given to the treasurer who will indicate, on the form, that he has accepted your cash. He will then give your application form only to me. Again if all is well you will be given your 2018 membership card.

Please note that if you are arranging your own BMFA insurance you will need to send me a copy of your certificate or proof of insurance before you fly any models at the CMFA Roxwell site.

#IF REJOINING BY POST, My address is 13 Elgin Avenue, Chelmsford, Essex. CM1 1TNApart from your completed form and cheque (again with your name and CMFA number on the reverse) please enclose a stamped addressed envelope. DO NOT POST CASH. The club cannot be held responsible for letters that go astray. Highlight any changes from last year and of course pay particular attention to email addresses. If it can be misread it probably will be. Again please indicate on the form if you are going to obtain your own BMFA insurance.

# IF PAYING DIRECT TO THE CLUB BANK ACCOUNT, contact me for the relevant account/sort code numbers and indicate that you have paid your fees direct. When the treasurer advises me by email that you have paid your fees your membership card will be posted to you using the stamped addressed envelope that you sent to me with your application form.Again please indicate on the form if you are going to obtain your own BMFA insurance.

# IF JOINING A JUNIOR MEMBER (UNDER 18 YEARS OLD) a junior member form should also be completed with the juniors date of birth indicated. I'm sure you will all appreciate the point of the form is to firstly protect the junior and secondly the club.
