TNO and SINTEF strengthen their collaboration

The leading research organizations TNO (the Netherlands) and SINTEF (Norway) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop and market their joint services on a number of fields of technology.

The agreement was signed by Mrs. Tini Colijn, member of the TNO Board of Management, and Mrs. Unni M. Steinsmo, President and CEO of SINTEF.

The parties both rank among the largest contract research organizations in Europe, and have a long and successful experience of research collaboration on different fields of technology. By signing this MoU, both parties express their commitment to strengthen and increase their collaboration.

The specified fields of collaboration are Oil and Gas (Basin Modelling, Wellstream Technology, Formation Physics, Drilling and Well Construction, Multiphase Flow Laboratory, Euroloop), Energy and Materials (Energy Conversion, Materials, Real Time Monitoring, Biotechnology, CO2 management, Corrosion) and Building and Infrastructure.
