Objective: Students will create a Slide Show presentation defining the steps in the Scientific Process.

Procedures:
1.Go to Start →Programs →PowerPoint.
2.If the Task Pane is not showing, go to View →Task Pane.
3.In the Task Pane, click on Slide Design →Design Template.
4.Choose Orbit. Click once on the box titled Orbit to insert in the slide show.
5.Click on: Click to add title.
6.Type: Scientific Method.
7.Go to File →Save As (The students should save this in their folder.)
8.Click on: Click to add subtitle.
9.Type: By: Student Name.
10.Click on New Slide.
11.Click on: Click to add title.
12.Type: Purpose.
13.Click on: Click to add subtitle.
14.Typea short definition of this step.
15.Go to File →Save.
16.Click on New Slide.
17.Click on: Click to add title.
18.Type: Hypothesis.
19.Click on: Click to add subtitle.
20.Typea short definition of this step.
21.Go to File →Save.
22.Repeat steps 16-21 for the following steps of the scientific method: Procedure, Results, Conclusion.
23.Go to Slide Show →Slide Transition.
24.Under Applied to selected slides, click on Cover Right-Down.
25.Under Modify Transition, click on Speed: Slow.
26.Under Advanced Slide, click On mouse click.
27.Click on Apply to all slides.
28.Go to File →Save.
29.Go to Slide Show →View Show.
30.Read each slide and then click the mouse to go to the next slide.

Modifications: Provide definitions to the students for each step in the Scientific Process
