  1. Section 2; Page 8: In reference to carving in Managed Care Medicaid claims, are JPS patients only utilizing Amerigroup or are other MCOs accessed? If others are accessed, can you provide a list of all which are utilized?

  1. Section 2; Pages 9 & 10: Please define the structures of the co-payment and formularies utilized by your plans. Also, does JPS provide patients with identification cards with pharmacy processing instructions?

Answer: JPS Does not dictate formulary or copay structures for third party payers. The patient would be subject to the copay established by their third party payer.

JPS does not provide identification cards for patients enrolled in charity care.

  1. Section 3; Page 12; Item 2; To provide the most accurate Pro Forma will JPS be providing at least a one year claims file? If no claims file will be provided, can the following be defined: number of 340B claims within the last 12 months; total number of claims both 340B and non 340B for the last 12 months; current dispensing fee arrangement with JPS contract pharmacies; total number of JPS patients; total number of JPS patients who qualify for individualized JPS plans (utilizing specific formularies and co-payment arrangements); number of Medicare patients; number of Medicaid patients; number of third party insured patients? How many unique patient encounters were generated in the last 12 months? How many outpatient prescriptions were generated within the last 12 months?

Answer: A list of provider NPIs is available. Utilize this list to identify the opportunity at the contract pharmacies you represent.

  1. Tab 5, question 2 – What are you looking for in terms of the top promoter score? If this is not something our firm measures, is there an alternative we can provide?

Answer: Top promoter score is “top box” client satisfaction. If your firm does not measure client satisfaction, please provide the client retention rate for the last 3 years.

  1. Does JPS have a dedicated internal IT department?

Answer: Yes, JPS has resources available for IT support.

  1. Vendor's past relationship with District is a scoring factor in this RFP. How will the district grade out potential vendors that have no past history with the district? Will lack of historical opportunity place any vendor at a district advantage or disadvantage?

Answer: The vendor’s past relationship is only one of the criterions and accounts for only 10% of the scoring. Each Evaluation Committee member will score each Respondent accordingly.

  1. JPS currently has 340b contract pharmacies registered with HRSA and operating under a financial arrangement not governed by this RFP or proposed contract. Is it JPS’s intention to move forward with these pharmacies under the current financial arrangement or will awarded vendor be expected to take over pharmacy contracting?

Answer: JPS will continue with current contract pharmacy arrangement. Awarded vendor will be responsible for new arrangements.

  1. Does JPS have an in-house outpatient pharmacy? If so, how many? And is it an open door pharmacy?
    Answer: JPS has 9 in-house outpatient pharmacies. 8 are closed door. 1 is open door.

All corrections, changes, additions, revisions, and/or clarifications in this Addendum #1 to the

RFP are hereby made a part of the RFB/RFP for #LH-0465.

All Respondents to the RFB/RFP shall acknowledge receipt and acceptance of this Addendum #1 by

signing in the space provided and submitting the signed Addendum #1 with the RFB/RFP.

Proposals submitted without an executed copy of this Addendum #1 attached may be considered

informal and may be rejected.
