Title Page Assignment 1

  1. Open a blank Word document.
  2. Save as title page 1 in your ID number folder.
  3. Use the title page set up handout located on the 6th grade table for help with setting up the title page. It is on the other side of the MLA report set up sheet.
  4. Use the following title: Tigers in the Wild
  5. Remember the class name is: Keyboarding
  6. Include one clipart image that goes with the title (Insert tab). Remember to change the wrap text to square and to resize it to fix either above or below the title (Picture tools format tab). Do not forget to click away from the clipart so the grabber boxes turn off.
  7. Include a page border around the edge of the title page (Page layout tab).
  8. Double check your spelling and save again.
  9. At the print screen double check to make sure the title page is on one page. If not go back and fix it—usually need to delete extra enters or you forgot to change the top and bottom margins to zero. When there is only one page print to the black printer and turn it in. 10 points.

  3. Font size 12
  4. Top and bottom margin zero: page layout tab, custom margins
  5. Follow the enters below and key the information.
  • Add graphic: insert tab,-picture or clipart. Next: double click the graphic and from the toolbar text wrap-square.
  • Add page border: page layout tab-page border icon. Click page border tab, select type and color, ok. To remove a border: Select none from the list at the left to remove.
