The dissertation must be double-spaced throughout except for quotations and footenotes. Double spacing needs to contain three lines of type and three spaces per vertical inch. To chack that the font is three lines per inch, place a ruler vertically on the page and measure from the top of the firstline to the top of the fourthline (see sample pages in the booklet, Doctoral Dissertation, Master's Thesis and Advanced Degree Requirements).

bibliography
Lastname, F. 1996. The first line of a citation is at the margin, subsequent lines are indented by half an inch. To change this, either use Normal style instead of Bibliog Style, or use the Ruler. You may make any appropriate words bold (from the toolbar or from the Format menu, Font).
Lastname, G. 1997. Bibliography is single-spaced within each entry, but double-spaced between entries. To change this, either use Normal style instead of Bibliog Style, or choose Paragraph from the Format menu, and adjust Spacing and Line Spacing.
