The purpose of this checklist is to provide Faculty Academic Strategy and Enhancement Committee members with clear criteria for:

  • ensuring that the University's expectations have been met during the development of each proposed module
  • assessing the overall appropriateness, quality and standard of proposed modules.

Having considered each module proposal, indicate whether you agree or disagree with the following statements. If you disagree with any of the statements in respect of any proposed module being considered a reason for this should be provided.

If Faculty Academic Strategy and Enhancement Committee is unable to confirm any of the above points, a brief explanation of their concerns, and the action required to address it, must be included in the report of the meeting and written feedback will be provided to the School Quality Director (or equivalent and where appointed) and the module leader.
