TITLE:BRANCH MANAGER

General:A branch manager is responsible for the day to day operation of their store, including all aspects of customer service, inventory control, staff supervision, and other management responsibilities. Shall maintain an ongoing comprehensive working knowledge of the company’s merchandise and equipment, applicable reimbursement, and coordinate marketing efforts in their market area. Shall coordinate long range planning and budgeting with administration and participate as an integral member of the company management team. In the absence of the Executive Director, the Branch Managers, in conjunction with the Accounting Manger, will assume the decision making roll needed to carry out the business activities of the company.

Qualifications

Physical:

  1. In an average 8 hour day the employee lifts/carries up to 65 pounds frequently.
  2. In an average 8 hour day the employee stands/walks 2 hours.
  3. In an average 8 hour day the employee sits 5 hours. (These hours include up to 5 hours of data entry/phone work.
  4. In an average 8 hour day the employee drives 1 hour.
  5. The employee lifts/carries up to 85 lbs. maximum.
  6. Must be clean & neat in personal appearance.

Education:

  1. High school diploma.
  2. Post secondary course work preferred.

Experience/Knowledge/Personality:

  1. 2 years experience in home health care industry.
  2. Good oral & written communication skills.
  3. Good knowledge of office records development, maintenance, and control practices.
  4. Able to direct office management staff.
  5. Good computer skills.
  6. Familiarity with insurance rules & regulations preferred.
  7. Able to function as a polite & cooperative team member with a positive attitude.
  8. Able to function on an interdisciplinary management team.
  9. Able to maintain confidentiality.

On Call:

  1. Periodically be available for non-office hours.
  2. Willing to be trained in pertinent areas of equipment/supplies.
  3. Available for home/office visits.
  4. Good driving record.

Responsibilities

and Duties:

  1. Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of store goals for growth of store revenue in conjunction with company goals.
  1. Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate files on all customers to insure efficient billing and follow-up care according to company policy.
  1. Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate petty cash records and submitting requests for reimbursements in a timely manner.
  1. Responsible for hiring, training and providing continued education of staff at the branch location.
  1. Responsible for accurate, timely deposits of all cash receipts and for forwarding payment information to the home office in a timely manner.
  1. Responsible for overseeing efficient, timely deliveries by delivery/clinical staff.
  1. Responsible for monitoring quality assurance records for improved organizational performance.
  1. Responsible for assisting with overall marketing to enhance continued profitable company growth.
  1. Responsible for maintaining proper store inventory levels and efficient, timely ordering of inventory items.
  1. Responsible for maintaining a well organized retail area that reflects the company’s standard for excellence.
  1. Responsible for conducting staff meetings on a regular basis.
  1. Responsible for being on call as per company policy.
  1. Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by management.
