“My personal message is safety is not within the fence, it’s all the way to the home.”

“The vision for goal zero is no harm to people and no leaks. And no harm to people is all about personal safety. And no leaks, we just made it in a simple language that everybody can understand but on a bigger picture we’re talking about process safety.”

“When we started here in Qatar even in the first meeting the message was safe and reliable production. Driving things in a safe, reliable way, that’s the pinpoint in our success story.”

“We’ve just had an award for 10 million hours without a loss time injury, but we still have small injuries. So we’re absolutely obsessive about rooting out even small problems. You don’t know whether the result of a small injury one day might be a mind-set in somebody’s head which could lead to something really serious in days to come.”

Particularly we, most of the time, talk about incidents and learnings, whether they happened here or happened somewhere else, and we share those because we want to avoid those incidents happening again.

“So all of these things come together. Our feeling of community, our care for each other and just the same business common sense of making Pearl a great place to work and a very, very profitable facility.”
