SUNDAY, JUNE 13 - PRESIDENT’S PARTY ….HIKE AND BBQ

12:30 pm …. Hike and picnic ...have fun with other skiers in this repeat summer event. We’ll meet at Rich and Cindy Rettig's BEAUTIFUL home bordering Pennypack Park, 511 Ridgerun Lane, Phila. Pa 19111 …..just off of Pine Road in NE Philly. Rich will lead us in a one hour leisure hike in the parks behind his house. Then we'll grill up some grub, supplied by the club. FRIDAY, JUNE 25 - WINE & OLDIES AT SHADY BROOK FARM, YARDLEY

6-9 pm FREE admission! Bring the family to hear a great dance band, enjoy wine tastings, and relax on the beautiful patio. Enjoy crackers, cheeses, chips and dips from the Farm Market, and sandwiches from their Deli, or grab a burger or hot dog hot off the grill. No outside food or beverages are permitted. DANCE TO THE MUSIC OF the RED ALERT BAND - Playing many styles of music from the 60’s to today’s best dance sounds, the RED ALERT BAND is sure to please. SHADY BROOK FARM is located at 931 Stony Hill Road in Yardley, Pa.

SATURDAY JULY 17 - BUCKS COUNTY RHYTHM & BLUES FESTIVAL

11am – 7 pm at Snipes Farm, Route 1 South, Morrisville, PA . $36 for all day food and music!!

FOOD / BEVERAGE: Includes hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage, barbeque beef & pork sandwiches, pasta salad, cole slaw, potato salad, corn-on-the-cob, soft pretzels, watermelon, bottled water, soda and iced tea; ice for personal coolers . Hospitality tent serves coffee, tea,donuts from 6 - 8 pm

SATURDAY, JULY 31, - FLOAT DOWN THE DELAWARE RIVER

Tubing on the Delaware is often called America's Favorite river activity. You no longer get just a black inner-tube, River Country uses custom manufactured tubes including Snuggle Tubes for two! Well meet mid-morning at the River Country location, 2 Walters Lane, Point Pleasant, PA (above New Hope) for a long 3-4 hour float down the Delaware. More details will be sent in July. This is a joint activity with the Main Line Ski Club – Point of Contact Glenn Elliott 609-658-8468.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 15 - THE GREAT TIROLER PICNIC at the SCHROEDER FARM

Rain or Shine @ Schroeder Farm. Picnic starts at 1:00 p.m. ROAST BEEF dinner served at 4:00 p.m. Snacks and beverages will be available all day. Enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs, bratwurst, etc. Beer, wine and soft drinks are also provided. Have fun playing Volleyball, Frisbee, Horseshoes …. AND do not forget your bathing suit and towels to enjoy the SWIMMING POOL!

FRIDAY, AUGUST 20 - SUMMER WINE & MUSIC at the CROSSINGS VINEYARD

Featuring the Idlewoodsmen – playing dancing favorites from the 60’s and 70’s.

Performances start at 7 pm …bring a lawn chair and arrive early to enjoy the grounds.

$10 in advance, $15 at door. Wine and cheese available for purchase. Outside beverages not permitted. A home-style buffet is also available from 6:30 to 7:30 pm for additional $25 /person + tax, includes reserved seating.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 3 - Delaware Canal Walk and Social at Uwe’s house:

A repeat of the great event enjoyed by many in the past two years. Walk or bike along the beautiful Delaware Canal in Yardley. Enjoy food and fun with friends afterwards. And watch the big game on Uwe’s big screen TV. Details closer to event by email and on web.
