Clinical Research Pilot Program: implementing and testing an intervention to facilitate parental support of effective emotion regulation in infants in at risk families referred for child abuse/neglect; increase parental sensitivity to infants’ emotion signals and increase their repertoire of appropriate contingent responses through parent child interaction training; improve parents’ awareness of their own emotion arousal and emotion regulation processes and the effects of their emotion responses on their infants by providing using biofeedback and relaxation training
