The purpose of these updates is to briefly recap the event and make note of anything that could use some changes next year

Freddy’s Night - $200 raised**Class signed a thank you card. For Nov 1st: Kelli will put the teacher’s name on the fliers before putting them in the teachers mailboxes and do reminder stickers **
Battlezone Night** $290 raised **
Picture Day

Update on any new funds spent **Purchased language materials (1st/2nd) kits, classroom set of Coming of Gray Owl (Colorado history) 4th grade studies - $450 spent YTD **

Lori shared stats from the latest state exams scores – growth report shows Timnath in Top 8 schools for growth in the district.

Literacy Week (Linda Motter) – October 7th-11th
Committee: Marnie Long, Meg Lowery, Stacey Snyder, Anne Van Arsdall, Wendy Eisenmenger,

Deb Blomstrom, Lori Sudowe, Kristie Raymond

Vets, Nurses, a Pediatric Dentist, an author, an illustrator, a professor and more coming in as guest readers/speakers** Each guest gets a personalized thank you card and choice of OJ or Frappe gift **
No individual/class prizes; will be fundraising campaign kickoff using an “ask” letter
We’re starting a TEF committee – Marnie, Kristie will co-chair with Meg supporting the Cheddar Up site
Letter to be revised to include goal/need – 25 iPads needed for classrooms

Hearing & Screening (Joy Murphy) – October 11th9-1pm
Signup Genius currently has 9 of 14 volunteer slots filled – had 4 added after Marjorie sent email Monday!
We need more volunteers than previous years. 5 hearing 5 vision screening. 9-9:10ish there will be a training and we will start shortly after. Snacks provided for volunteers
Teacher Appreciation Luncheon 4th/5th Grades (Linda Maguire & Joy Murphy) – October 20th

Book Fair (Linda Maguire) – November 3rd – 9thSetup genius will be sent (Setup will be done on the 2nd)
