Timetable of Statistical Releases – BIS and the Insolvency Service
The table below gives the publication dates of BIS and Insolvency Service official and National Statistics between October 2010 and December 2013. Exact dates are given where these have already been announced, otherwise the month of publication is given.
You can obtain these releases from our websiteor via the UK Statistics Authority's Publication Hub
The Code of Practice for Official Statistics[1] requires that we publish a timetable of releases for twelve months ahead, and the National Statistician's Guidance on the Presentation and Publication of Official Statistics[2] requires that the planned date of release must be added to the Publication Hub release calendar no later than four weeks in advance of the release date.Release dates are proposed by the statistical team producing the release, and approved by the Head of Profession for Statistics.
This timetable will be updated regularly. Existing entries may be amended if BIS or the Insolvency Service introduce a new publication, or change the publication date of an existing release. If a publication date is changed after a final date has been published an explanation will be given, in accordance with the Code of Practice.
NS indicates that the output is a National Statistic[3], OS indicates that it is an Official Statistic. OS Exp indicates an Experimental Official Statistic.

[4] The UK Statistics Authority assessed the Building Price and Cost Indices as not sufficiently compliant with the Code of Practice for Official Statistics in an assessment report published on 17 February 2011, and hence the National Statistics designation has been removed temporarily while a programme of improvements is carried out. Following the completion of this programme, the Authority will review the designation.
