Executive Reports

President: Stephen has been contacting realty companies about the fabric recycling program.

Vice President: Michael attended the Parking and Transit meeting. They will be getting rid of a lot of parking on campus in order to build new buildings. They will be redoing the crosswalk near the Colvin Center because they are not happy with the current HAWK crosswalk. The next Parking and Transit meeting is on May 8th at 2:00pm.

Advisor: We will be having our End of the Year dinner on Sunday, May 4th, beginning at 4:00pm at Marie’s house.

RAC Director: No Report

Secretary: The meeting next week will be in CLB 119. If you are graduating at the end of this semester let Jon know. Interviews for the new secretary are going well. Jon is passing around a sign-up sheet to get a count of how many are going to the End of the Year dinner and what food item people are bringing. If you have not voted yet for End of the Year awards, Jon has ballots.

Senate Report

Senate opened nominations for chair positions. They will not be meeting next week because Peyton Manning is speaking.

Committee Reports

Civic Affairs: No Report

Internal Affairs: IA met and interviewed a new applicant for a representative position. They also heard a bill.

University Affairs: No Report

Vice Chair: No Report

Chair: Senators need to talk to their living groups.

Unfinished Business

Announcements

Rumin is considering writing legislation making the Supreme Court in charge of SGA elections.

Jeremiah is considering writing legislation to consolidate online class/testing fees for all colleges instead having different fees for different colleges.

Jarrett encourages the University Committee to look into the Parking and Transit’s plan to get rid of so many parking spaces.
