Staff Holidays
Steph will be off all week due to personal circumstances.
Brenda will be on Holiday Mon and Tue
Rachel will be on Holiday Thursday and Friday / Dates for your diary
Saturday 25th March we are having a parents meeting to talk about what you would like to see happen in the nursery time 10.30
24th March we are having a Mother’s day tea at 3.30
Roo’s
Next week the children will be making paper mache balloons and painting and decorating them, we will also be printing with potato’s to make ladybirds and tulips.
On Wednesday the children will be doing singing with Katie and playing with the musical instruments. The children will be working on their personal and social skills using the puzzles, and working on their communication skills with the farm animals and working on our physical skills in the garden on the slide and the stepping stones and running games.
Tiggers
Next week the children will be looking at and making volcanoes and they will be looking at ice they will freeze water and look at it melting and how it feels.
We will be looking at farm animals and making 3d cows for our display board. They will be using paint and glue and other media and materials to make other farm animals.
We will also be making edible caterpillars using fruit.
The children will take part in phonics sessions on Tuesday and will having singing with Katie on Wednesday.
To carry on this learning at home when you are out for a drive see how many different animals you can see.
Owls
Next week the children will be doing lots of mother’s day activities. They will be creating cards and a gift for their lovely mummies. They will also be getting creative throughout the week with lots of painting using a variety of textures. We will be using cheerios and pipe cleaners to practice our fine motor threading skills. We will also be looking at measurements and weight using scales to weigh cork tops and bottle lids.
The children can bring in their own fancy dress costume to use in our new cinema home corner. This way we can ensure all the children get a chance to star in their own film.
General information
Next week is red nose day and we are asking that Friday all the children come dressed in something red.
