*** There are many restricted streets on campus. These directions will help you not run into any roadblocks.

Directions to West Hall (Residential College West)

For overnight campers

Directions from West –I-10 –Take Exit at Nicholson Dr./Highland Rd(Exit 155A).Take Nicholson Drive south towards campus. Go 1.6 miles then turn Left on West Chimes St. Go past LSU Natatorium, and just past the old LSU Softball Stadium turn Right onto Cypress Dr. Park in the gravel lot on the left. Dorm is at south end of gravel lot.

Directions from East – I-10 (New Orleans) –Take I-10 to Highland Road (La. 42, exit 166). Turn left onto Highland Road and proceed 10.5 miles until reaching Nicholson Drive Extension. Turn Left on Nicholson Dr. Extension. Drive 0.9 miles until reaching Nicholson Drive (La. 30). Turn right onto Nicholson Drive and proceed past Tiger Stadium, past Track Stadium, then turn right immediately following LSU Natatorium onto West Chimes St. Just past old LSU Softball Stadium turn right onto Cypress Dr. Park in the gravel lot on the left. Dorm is at south end of gravel lot.

Directions from East – I-12 – Take I-12 till the merge onto I-10. Continue I-10 west to Acadian Thruway (La. 427, exit 157B). Turn left onto Acadian Thwy. (note that Acadian becomes Stanford Ave. and then becomes LSU Ave). Turn right onto Highland Road and proceed .25 miles. Turn left on Nicholson Dr. Extension. Drive 0.9 miles until reaching Nicholson Drive (La. 30). Turn right onto Nicholson Drive and proceed past Tiger Stadium, past Track Stadium, then turn right immediately following LSU Natatorium onto West Chimes St. Just past old LSU Softball Stadium turn right onto Cypress Dr. Park in the gravel lot on the left. Dorm is at south end of gravel lot.

Directions to Maddox Field House (Gym)

For day campers

Directions from West - I-10 –Take Exit at Nicholson Dr./Highland Rd (Exit 155A).Take Nicholson Dr. South towards campus. Go 1.6 miles then turn Left on West Chimes St. Go past LSU Natatorium, just past the old LSU Softball Stadium turn Right onto Cypress Dr. Maddox Field House will be on your right after you pass the LSU Tennis Stadium.

Directions from East – I-10 (New Orleans) –Take I-10 to Highland Road (La. 42, exit 166). Turn left onto Highland Road and proceed 10.5 miles until reaching Nicholson Drive Extension. Turn Left on Nicholson Dr. Extension. Drive 0.9 miles until reaching Nicholson Drive (La. 30). Turn right onto Nicholson Drive and proceed past Tiger Stadium.Just past the LSU Track Stadium, turn right into the parking lot. This will bring you in the back entrance of the Field House. You will be able to enter through the glass doors on the Southwest side or you can walk between the Field House and the Track to enter on the Southeast side.
