First my apologies to anyone who joined the call today but was on listen only mode. We were having difficulties with the service and anyone who joined after Donna reset the listen only mode were not joined to the conference. / DONEThere was lively discussion about how to accomplish our charter. The group determined that we want to construct a list of specific recommendations for healthcare in the following five major themes as developed by WG #3’s review of literature.
- Human Information Processing including Human-Computer Interaction Theories or Human Factors Theories
- Requirements Analysis
- Usability Design
- Safety/Error prevention
- Usability Testing
Instead of trying to do this via email, we ask that you post your document to our Wiki site (see instructions below). Page Cedarholm will be collating the vendor recommendations and Shirley Woodhead will be doing the same for the providers.
At the next meeting, the group will begin to review these recommendations. We are working toward having a solid first draft by the end of September
Now we can start the fun part of this work!! Please let me know if there are any questions
